Common Technical Questions

What is the shelf life of TCCA?
When stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place in original sealed containers, TCCA typically has a shelf life of 2 years. Avoid moisture and direct sunlight.
How to dissolve TCCA granules properly?
Always add chemical to water, never water to chemical. Pre-dissolve granules in a bucket of water before pouring around the perimeter of the pool for best distribution.
Can I mix TCCA and SDIC?
NEVER mix TCCA (Trichlor) and SDIC (Dichlor) or Calcium Hypochlorite in the same feeder or bucket. It can cause a dangerous explosion or fire. Store and use them separately.
